Barbara has recently moved to Farnborough and has been delighted to discover its rich heritage. Having spent many years living and working in California, Barbara has an outsider's appreciation of what makes this town uniquely valuable: its people, its history, its aspirations. As a teacher she is especially interested in young people and looks forward to forging strong links between The Farnborough Society and local schools, exchanging ideas and developing initiatives that will benefit young and old alike.
